You bet! It’s that time of year and consumers are on the warpath more than usual. Its one thing to antagonize a consumer with your packaging, it’s another to solve the problem. As long as Lifelounge has been aware of them, condom packaging design has always been synonymous with cheesy soft-porn/mills&boon style imagery of a couple mid-embrace or a half naked woman in a provocative pose. They’re generally very poor design pieces and he’s never really given it much thought until he came across a collection of images of condom package tins from between the 30s and 50s (yes grandma and grandpa used condoms too). Some beautiful and sometimes amusing uses of type, illustration colour and design.
