An elegant way to sell your product is to offer a free taste. Designers do pretty much the same thing when they offer freebies. Once tasted, you’re more likely to pay for the products they sell. You just gotta love textures, and Texture Lovers certainly do. They’re reasonably new, but have already archived some beautiful single textures and texture packs. The bonus is that they provide texture inspiration and tutorials. You can also submit your own creations. Nice.

I know that wood and leaf textures are rather eclectic, but if you need them you’ll find them at Six Revisions (Wood) (Leaf). They are all large-scale, high resolution and free.
